Republican Mitt Romney was in Troy Sunday as part of his “Every Town Counts” bus tour. He was joined by Speaker of the House John Boehner, who represents the district that includes Troy. Also there was Senator Rob Portman, who has been discussed as possible Vice Presidential pick. Romney gave an abbreviated campaign speech from the bed of a pickup truck. He also visited K’s Hamburger shop with his grandchildren. Marcia Ryan owns the shop and says that Romney’s policies would help small businesses like hers.
