Miami Valley StoryCorps interviews are the result of WYSO’s collaboration with StoryCorps, the national oral history collection project that visited Dayton in the spring of 2010 and 2014. All the Miami Valley StoryCorps segments consist of interviews between two local residents.

On Miami Valley StoryCorps we bring you conversations between local people who went to the StoryCorps booth in Dayton last spring.   Today we hear a conversation between Kevin Stallo and Mike Moroski.  Kevin was Mike's student at Moeller, a Catholic High School in Cincinnati.  Years after Kevin graduated, Mike went on to teach at another area Catholic high school that fired him after he wrote a blog post in which he stated he supports gay marriage.  Kevin brought his former teacher to the StoryCorps booth to talk about that experience.

Hayashi is a retired church executive, and active community volunteer, including many years on the WYSO Community Resource Board. His wife Deb Dunlop is a mental health counselor and community volunteer, as well.
