Meme: Culture in Transmission is currently showing at the Herndon Gallery on the Antioch College campus. The Creative Director of the gallery, Dennie Eagleson and one of the exhibit's contributing artists, Will Davis, talked with Nikki Dakota on Excursions about the exhibit. The idea for the exhibit grew up around the concept.

The artist is Mark Martel, local Dayton art legend and 2012 ART OFF reigning champion. There is a Reception from 6:00-10:00pm.

Local and Regional Artists Participate in Handmade Holiday Dayton

Beginning as a fundraiser for the now-closed C{space, Handmade Holiday Dayton has become a yearly must-attend event for artisans and shoppers alike.  2012 marks the first year the event will be held at the Yellow Cab Building, recent home of the Dayton Circus' yearly Side Shows, as well as the introduction of many new local and regional artisans to the show.  Kaleidoscope host Juliet Fromholt visited the Yellow Cab building while organizers and volunteers prepared for the show and spoke with three of the Handmade Holiday organizers about this year's show.
