Such A Night: The Last Waltz Live To Benefit WYSO
Two Performances: November 23 2016 - November 25 2016
Nearly 30 local musicians will gather on the stage of The DAI's Renaissance Auditorium to recreate the historic performances of The Band's The Last Waltz and celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original concert, which took place November 25, 1976.
There will be two performances again this year, on Wednesday, November 23 and Friday, November 25. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the concert begins at 8:30 p.m. each night.
Such a Night: The Last Waltz Live features many of Dayton’s most talented musicians, including a seven-piece horn section. The original film The Last Waltz documented The Band's final concert, and it featured performances by Dr. John, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Neil Diamond, Van Morrison, Emmylou Harris, Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Eric Clapton, and Bob Dylan.
