What's Great in Dayton: September 23 - 29, 2016

The Dayton Art Institute is celebrating 45 years of art, cheers and beers at its annual Oktoberfest which is Saturday & Sunday. Great art to see and buy, great food, and great entertainment….including our accordion band on Saturday afternoon.

The Aullwood Apple Fest is Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Sample apple pie baked in a Dutch oven, freshly pressed cider, apple dumplings, apple butter,  and many other choices. Everyone enjoys a visit with farm animal friends and a tractor or draft horse pulled wagon ride. Johnny Appleseed will stroll the festival grounds.

Fun on the Farm at Autumn Fest! This is full of  festival fun! Hayrides, pony rides, games for kids to play, farm animals to visit, displays on conservation and nature to check out, and fun crafts to make! Saturday, 10:00am - 4:00pm, Learning Tree Farm.

A great play at The Human Race is Sweeney Todd. He is a barber unjustly imprisoned by a corrupt Judge and he returns to London fifteen years later to take his revenge on the man who took him from his wife and young daughter. Now through October 2.

Gotta Go….
