Kettering Rotary is hosting the annual Run for Your Life, 5k Run/Walk on Friday at 6:15p.m. This is at the Community Golf Course and proceeds benefit Girls on the Run and Kettering Rotary.
This weekend , the play Lost in Yonkers is at the Dayton Theatre Guild . This tells the tale of two young boys left by their widowed father in a strange world called Yonkers. It’s a funny, touching and unforgettable drama.
Saturday the Ride For Refuge is coming to Dayton. This is a family-friendly cycling fundraiser that supports those who are displaced, vulnerable and exploited. The event is combined with the Love146 Dayton Task Force which is dedicated to the eradication of child sex slavery and exploitation in the U.S.
The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra will present the classic horror film The Bride of Frankenstein (including Boris Karloff) in a special Halloween performance with live orchestra on Saturday at the Schuster Center.
Saturday is also the Hauntfest on Fifth Street in the Oregon Arts District. Put on your costume and head to the region's largest and longest-running Halloween street party! Live music, food, drinks, costume contests and pro wrestling. And by the way, as you are wandering around tons of places have dialed their radio to 91.3,WYSO, and you will be hearing REV. COOL’S AROUND THE FRINGE SHOW.
If you want to see Over 500 carved pumpkins then head over to the Greek Orthodox Hill/Stoddard Avenue on Sunday and Monday after dark! This is in the neighborhood behind the Dayton Art Institute.
