Dayton Ballet's Cinderella is on stage tonight

Cinderella. What word pops into your head? Romance? Intrigue? Love? Humor? Just look at the list of characters in the cast. A harassed serving girl, a wicked stepmother, two evil stepsisters, a fairy godmother and many others including  a handsome prince. Dayton Ballet is having this tonight at 8:00pm.

The Eichelberger Film Dayton Festival is happening now and this weekend! All film screenings will take place at THE NEON (though there will be numerous events elsewhere in conjunction with the fest). Check out all the festival has to offer.

The Enchanted Forest is at Aullwood Farm tonight and Saturday from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. This non-scary event is fun for the entire family! Enjoy the fall season with a beautiful hike along a luminary-lit trail. Make s'mores, toast marshmallows and meet Aullwood's farm animals, get your face painted, or even purchase a charming animal mask.

The Boo Bash for Family Funday is at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center on Saturday from noon to 4:00 P.M.  There are activities for the whole family to enjoy together...pumpkin decorating, making hand puppets, face painting, and a slightly haunted Hayner rooms. There also will be two performances of the children's story "Goblins" by Zoot Theatre Company.

Join in for Harmony in the Heartland: A Concert for Peace featuring Wright State choirs and instrumentalists and other special guests on Sunday, 7:30pm at the Schuster. For over 20 years Dayton has been known as the home of peace by first hosting the landmark Dayton Peace Accords and then instituting the internationally recognized Dayton Literary Peace Prize.
