It’s First Friday in Downtown Dayton. There’s holiday shopping, live music and more.  As you are wandering around you will be hearing REV. COOL’S AROUND THE FRINGE SHOW since lots of places have dialed their radio to 91.3,WYSO.
Lynda Carter, who is known as Wonder Woman on TV, will be singing at The Schuster tonight with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra.

Saturday at Aullwood’s Audubon Center is Happy Bird Day. At 7:30 am there is an early morning bird walk and all day there many, many bird activities.

The movie Take Shelter was filmed right here in Ohio and THIS WEEKEND, you can see the show and meet and talk with producer Tyler Davidson. This is at the Neon Movies.

“Lions, Tigers and Bears, Oh Why?”…. Tim Harrison, an exotic animal expert, will talk about this on Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm in Oakwood at the Wright Library.

Sunday evening you will enjoy “The Holidays in the Heartland ” with the nationally-recognized choirs of Wright State University. They will be doing holiday music and patriotic favorites.

Every week I e-mail out a newsletter that gives you interesting things going on in this area. Go to my website GreatDayton.com.
