What's Great in Dayton: November 18 - 24, 2016

Aullwood's Holiday Shop Around and Art Fair is open today from 3 to 8pm and Saturday 9:00 am to  5pm at both the Farm and the Aullwood Center! This brings local museum stores, nonprofits, vendors, crafters, and artisans together at both Farm and Center for your One Stop Holiday shopping experience!

The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center will be hosting their 6th annual "HAYNER GIFT GALLERY" on Saturday from 10am to 4pm. The house will be filled with Artists and Vendors, each selling their own special and unique products. This is the place to find that "one of a kind" gift that you have been searching for and a great way to start your Holiday shopping!

The magic of the holiday season comes alive at Carillon Historical Park during the 22nd annual Ringing in the Holidays celebration on Saturday from 6:30 to 10pm. This year's theme is "I'll Be Home for Christmas," a patriotic tribute to our troops throughout history. In addition, there will be unveiling a series of new exhibits in The Heritage Center of Dayton Manufacturing and Entrepreneurship.

The Platform and Brand Building session will help writers, whether already published or not-yet, figure out the best way to use social media such as Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and other tools to build readership and an audience. It will be led by a local author who has had two different books published.  Antioch Writers' Workshop's mini-seminar will be on Sunday from 2-3:30 pm at Books & Co at The Greene.
