A Word A'Fair is this weekend at the Dayton Convention Center

Dayton Hamvention, the world's largest amateur radio convention, brings approximately 25,000 attendees from all over the world. And the 65th annual Dayton Hamvention is now through Sunday at Dayton's Hara Complex. The 2016 Dayton Hamvention theme is, "The Radio Frontier. . .Looking to New Methods and Devices in Communication."

Feed the Adjunct is a social political, one night only, art event featuring 14 local Dayton artists who teach at one of our 3 local universities. All art sale proceeds go directly to the Art Adjunct Profs. Friday, 6-10pm at Divisibe Gallery, Front Street Warehouse, 1001 E 2nd St in Dayton.

The World A'Fair 2016 is tonight through Sunday. The 3-day international festival returns to the Dayton Convention Center to showcase booths and performances from local, regional, national and international ethnic groups.

The Wegerzyn Bike Rodeo is on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark - and  more than 200 bicycle helmets will be donated to local children ages 3 to 15. Children will be fitted with a helmet and a technician will check out the bicycles.

Come enjoy the Faerie Birds of Aullwood, a series of six beautifully crafted faerie houses are installed along the Birds, Flight, and Wrights Trail. Stop in the Marie S. Aull Education Center and pick up your Faerie House Form at the front desk. These faerie houses will be there until the end of the month.

Charlie, It’s Great In Dayton, Campbell

Charlie Campbell wants to spread the news of so many wonderful aspects in the greater Dayton area. He is a cheerleader and a real believer that our area is the place to be. He has been active in this area for almost 40 years and you can hear him weekly at WYSO.
