This weekend the Dayton Opera is doing Carmen, and you will experience a Carmen like you have never seen before - intense, intimate and bitingly tragic! It's Carmen unplugged!
Hamvention…..opening tonight and all weekend at the Hara…you will be “internationally connected."
And also The World A’Fair….opening tonight and all weekend at the Dayton Convention center…. Food! Dancing! Music! Costumes! Showcases the ethnic backgrounds and cultures of Dayton and the greater Miami Valley.
Aullwood Farm Babies Fest…..Saturday. Admission is $5 per car. The entire family will enjoy meeting all the new animal babies at Aullwood Farm.
Dayton March Against Violence is Saturday. Meet at the park at Edwin Moses Blvd at Riverview, Just North of 3rd Street. at noon and then march to Courthouse Square….there will be a rally there at 1 p.m. Come walk with a diverse crowd of your neighbors for an end to violence in Dayton!
On Sunday, Ron Rollins, associate editor of the Dayton Daily News, will talk about “How to Free-Lance for Newspapers and Magazines.” This is 2:00pm at Books & Co. at The Greene.
Back by popular demand, at the Wright Public Library in Oakwood the presentation of "The Classic Architecture of Oakwood Homes" is on Sunday, at 2:00.
The first Eco-Rehabarama event is taking place now. There are ten homes located in one of the original sections of Huber Heights. And they now meet or exceed today's standards for safe, comfortable, efficient and sustainable living. The show is FREE and open to the public. These aren't your father's Huber Homes...
