What's Great in Dayton: March 31 - April 6, 2017

A Paul Laurence Dunbar Documentary film is scheduled on Saturday at the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center. The first screening will begin at 1:00 PM and the second at 4:00 PM. The film is approximately two hours long and has no cost but due to limited seating, an RSVP is requested. And the film producers will be there to talk about it.

The Rubi Girls are performing in their 2ed annual WYSO Serious Gala on Saturday, 7 -11pm at Memorial Hall in downtown Dayton. The evening will feature a performance from Dayton's charity-driven drag troupe, The Rubi Girls, who will parody public radio programs with help from the Black Box Improv Theatre and the WYSO staff. The first part will be a cocktail hour in the lower level of Memorial Hall. Food will be provided by Christopher's Restaurant plus a cash bar featuring Buckeye Vodka.
 

Everyone loves doing brunch on Sunday morning. Everyone loves going to a food truck rally. Now, Drunken Waffle and Smokin Bee-Bee-Q have come together to present the best-of-both-worlds with The Brunch Food Truck Rallies at the Yellow Cab. It will take place on Sunday from 10am-2pm.

The Hanley Sustainability Institute at the University of Dayton is convening a National Issues Forum on Climate Choices and are inviting you to participate. Your contribution will help shape campus and community climate action planning. This is on Wednesday, April 5.
