What's Great in Dayton: June 9 - 15, 2017

A Day Of Small-Town Hoopla! Over 200 arts, crafts, and food vendors, two music stages, a beer garden, and street performers throughout the Yellow Springs Street Fair. This is a festival like no other and they usually get between 20,000 - 25,000 visitors throughout the course of the day. This is Saturday, 9am-5pm.

The Oakwood Farmers Market is Saturday from 9am - 1pm...and from 9 - 11 you can hear me playing on my accordion!

Did you know one year's growth of fleece produces 8 pounds of wool? Or a lamb identifies its mother by her bleat? Visit Aullwood's sheep up close and learn how to feed them. Find out how to card, wash and felt wool into something unique. Don't have a baa-d day, come to the farm! Saturday, starting at 2:30 p.m.

Experience the best talent the local jazz scene has to offer at the Dayton Jazz Festival! This concert features seven live bands and food and merchandise vendors. It is Sunday 1to 9pm at Riverscape Metro Park. Bring your blankets or event seats, but no tents, pets, outside food or beverages please.

The Seventh Annual Jewish Cultural Festival returns to Temple Israel on Sunday at 11am - 7pm. Get ready to have fun, learn, dance, sing, shop, and eat! There will be music headliners, speakers, education topics, and other fun surprises.
