What's Great in Dayton: June 10 - 16, 2016

If you want to ride your bike on Saturday the Dayton Rotary Club is having 3 fun rides to pick from: an easy 6 mile ride; a 32 mile ride; and a 64 mile ride. All starting from the central Xenia Station Bike Hub. Get there at 8am.  On your Facebook find daytonrotaryride

And if you are a mountain biker then on Saturday at 10 AM there is the opening of new amenities on and off the trails with improvements for all types of riders! Enjoy mountain biking Try-Its during National Take A Kid Mountain Biking Day. New comfort amenities at the trailhead include a restroom, water, fix-it station, parking area and trail improvements. This is at the Huffman Metropark.
 

Kick off your shoes and dance at Street Beats which is an outdoor concert accompanied by a big sky, and Dayton Contemporary Dance Company's exceptional dancers. Special offerings include food vendors, dance lessons, and other extras for the entire family. This is at the RiverScape MetroPark, on Saturday at 6:00pm. (Activities begin at 5:00pm).

The Patterson Park Garden Tour is Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The theme this year is: RED, WHITE AND YOU as they showcase backyards transformed into idyllic havens to entertain family and friends.

And on Sunday, from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM relax to the smooth sounds of the region's best jazz vocalists and artists at Dave Hall Plaza for the DAYTON JAZZ FESTIVAL.
