What's Great in Dayton: December 2 - 8, 2016

A Bizarre Holiday And Bake Sale is at The Dayton Area Peace Museum. You will not only be able to buy over-looked gems from past Peace Museum boutiques at bargain prices, but there will be a bake sale featuring members favorite cookies and special treats. Tonight from 6 pm to 8 pm and Saturday, 10 am. to 4 pm.

And if you want to see a play about the course of one dizzying night at a club, then JAILBAIT follows the parallel stories of two fifteen-year-old girls, desperate to grow up, and two thirty-something men who are looking to be twenty-one again. This play is now through Sunday at the Schuster.

Set beautifully to dance, The Littlest Angel is the endearing tale about a little boy who enters heaven far too soon. But the gift he offers for the Christ child transforms the meaning of giving and sacrifice. The ballet Littlest Angel is for the entire family and for the child in you. It is at the University of Dayton’s Boll Theatre tonight at 7:30pm and Saturday at 3:00  and at 7:30 pm.

Whether you're shopping for unique, handmade gifts or hoping to keep the kids busy with fun, low-cost and free activities, there's plenty to explore during the Rosewood Holiday Arts Festival. This features artists, demonstrations, art activities, theatre and dance performances, art exhibitions, refreshments and more. Saturday, 11 am - 3 pm.

A celebration of the hope and joy of the season including  their annual caroling sing-along is on Sunday at 7:30pm. Savor the sounds of guitar virtuoso Jim McCutcheon, the angelic voices of Kettering Children's Choir Chorale, and the melodic bells of Kettering Advent Ringers. This is an evening to lift your spirits and bring good cheer singing and hearing holiday favorites and international carols. It all happens at Kettering Adventist Church
