Such a Night: The Last Waltz Live in Dayton

In 1976, The Band hosted a farewell tour at The Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco that featured more than a dozen special guests that inspired The Band and others that were influenced by them including: Paul Butterfield, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, Ronnie Hawkins, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Wood, Bobby Charles, Neil Young, and the Staple Singers. Now in 2013, the famous documentary filmed by Martin Scorsese will be reenacted in its entirety at Gilly's in Dayton.

The show will take place at 7:30pm on Sunday, February 24th at Gilly's on fiftth street in Dayton.  More than a dozen local artists and musicians from Dayton will be featured in the show including: Kyle Byrum, Larry Evans, Steve Phelps, Tim Pritchard, Jimmy Rogers, Trey Stone, an eight-piece horn section, and several special guests.
