Dear President Trump,
I am writing for myself and all others that suffer with chronic pain. The legislature has stopped our doctors from writing prescription drugs for long-term pain.
I have arthritis but that is not my biggest complaint. I have fibromyalgia, which is very painful and debilitating. It is so debilitating that I had to give up my career as a nurse because of its severity.
I was taking a prescription narcotic that took all the pain away, but now it isn't available for my long-term condition. Is there anything you can do and/or come up with that would help all of the chronic-pain sufferers to find relief?
I am 64 years old and I had planned to work until I was in my seventies, but fibromyalgia has caused me to stop working at the job I cherished. I have had fibromyalgia since I was 44 years old and it progresses as the years go by. It is much worse now than then.
Please, please help us somehow or someway to get relief from our suffering.
Sincerely,
Patricia Bickford
