Bill Hooper came to Yellow Springs to attend Antioch College. He liked it here. So he decided to stay on for a while.

Over the course of his long career as a building contractor Bill was responsible for the construction of over 300 homes, many in the Yellow Springs area. As a long-time member of the Antioch Board of Trustees he has overseen the construction of buildings for Antioch University here in Yellow Springs and across the country.

Bill Hooper oversaw the construction of the Antioch College Amphitheater. In 1995 he oversaw the completion of the renovations for the current WYSO studios.

Bill Hooper recently celebrated his 91st birthday. He has many stories to share. He tells some of them in a book he has had privately published for his friends and family, "Tall Tales and Short Ones."
