Rev Cool

Host - Around the Fringe

Long before The Rev Cool laid voice to the WYSO airwaves nearly thirty years ago, he was already the President of his own record label, I WANNA Records.  He had already proven himself as a cutting-edge live music promoter. And he was already firmly established at the center of a Dayton's vibrant local music scene. In addition to hosting Around the Fringe, the Rev also performs as part of the Rev Cool Arkestra and Dance Ensemble.

Ways To Connect

As WYSO wrapped up its inaugural Pet War fundraiser and Antioch College's 2014 Reunion was getting underway, Rev Cool and Andy Valeri hosted a live studio audience during a special edition of Around the Fringe.  Dayton-based Jah Soul performed signature danceable tunes for listeners on the air and in the building.

Jah Soul will perform at WYSO's Community Concert on September 7th at RiverScape MetroPark.  More details here.
