Dragons to Honor Military Personnel Saturday Night

The Dayton Dragons, along with  the Dayton Development Coalition, will host the first of two “Hometown Heroes Celebration Nights” at Fifth Third Field on Saturday, when the Dragons host the Great Lakes Loons. The program is part of a season-long celebration to pay tribute to all service men and women associated with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and the Springfield Air National Guard Base.

Hailing from Yellow Springs, the members of Soul Rebels combine reggae, funk, jazz and rock and roll influences to create that sound with a distinct groove and lyrics with a positive message.  The band visited the WYSO studios to perform a live set on Kaleidoscope and chatted with host Juliet Fromholt about how they came together and found their sound.
