The Ahiska Turkish American Community Center, located at the "former Bomberger Center" 1306 E. Fifth Street, in Dayton, is having an official Grand Opening on today at 5:00pm. It is an ethnic and faith-based non-profit community organization serving refugees, immigrants and under-served communities in Montgomery County. About 400 families have resettled here investing 15-20 million dollars in economy of Dayton.

Waterfalls, ponds and garden trains are some of the amazing features on the DeWeese Ridgecrest Garden Showcase on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eight gardens in the DeWeese Ridgecrest neighborhood are on the tour which will be held rain or shine.  Tickets can be purchased at the tour table at Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark. You may drive, bike or walk from garden to garden.
