Dan Tedesco returns to the WYSO studios ahead of his Canal Public House gig along with Dylan Boyle for a live performance on Excursions.  Tesdeco chatted with Niki Dakota about his new self-titled album, his latest travels and more.

Having released their debut album, Asleep/Repeat/Awake, Moira visited the WYSO studios for a live set on Kaleidoscope.  The band chatted with host Juliet Fromholt about creating their unique sound, writing, recording and more.

Moira will perform at MOTR in Cincinnati on Friday, October 23rd with the Motel Beds and on Thursday, November 5th at Blind Bob's with Ampline. 

Members of the Miami Valley Music Men made a return visit to the WYSO studios ahead of their 30th anniversary show, themed Halloween Party.  Singers from the group provided a musical preview and talked about barbershop style. the concert's history and more.

The Miami Valley Music Men's 30th Anniversary concert is at Fairborn High School Auditorium on Friday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 24th.

Songwriter Kevin Heider returns to the WYSO studios for a live preview of his forthcoming EP, Us.  Heider talked talked with Kaleidoscope host Juliet Fromholt about the process of putting together the EP, crowdfunding, writing and more.

Kevin Heider's new EP, Us, will be released November 3rd.

Beginning as a two-piece and growing to four members, The Nuckles combine punk, garage and rock and roll.  The band visited the WYSO studios for a live set on Kaleidoscope and talked with host Juliet Fromholt about writing, recording and upcoming shows.

The Nuckles will perform at South Park Tavern on October 16th, Rock Star Pro Arena on October 23rd and at the Oregon Express on October 24th.

Local filmmaker and photographer Jennifer Taylor and musician and filmmaker Tim Gebard visit the WYSO studio to talk about their collaboration, The Fall League.  The film tells the story of a senior citizens softball league and is gaining national attention.  Tim and his son Aaron also performed music from the film live in the WYSO studios.

Ahead of their performance at GenFest, McGuff and the Dumpster Fires visited the WYSO studios for a live set on Kaleidoscope.  The band talked about finding their genre-spanning sound, writing, recording and more.

McGuff and the Dumpster Fires will perform at Gem Fest on Saturday, October 3rd, at the Yellow Cab in downtown Dayton.

Yellow Springs trio Lord Kimbo visited the WYSO studios for a live set on Kaleidoscope and chatted with host Juliet Fromholt about finding their sound, improvisation and more.

GemFest is a day-long festival of art, music and resources to benefit GLSEN Greater Dayton.  Two of the bands involved, Evil Eye Gypsy and A Shade of Red gave a musical preview of the event live on Kaleidoscope and the organizers chatted with host Juliet Fromholt about the cause GemFest benefits.

GemFest is Saturday, October 3rd at the Yellow Cab in downtown Dayton.

Mark Becknell is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who performs with several regional bands.  His latest solo release is Like The Vine.  Becknell visited the WYSO for a live set on Kaleidoscope and talked about writing, recording and more with host Juliet Fromholt.

Mark Becknell will perform at MOTR in Cincinnati on October 2nd.
