The Richter Uzur Duo features Viktor Uzur on cello and Brad Richter on guitar. Uzur and Richter visited the WYSO studio ahead of their performance at the University of Dayton and performed several live songs on Excursions. The duo chats with Niki Dakota about what brought them together as musical partners and how they make their two instruments work together in composition. Since their last visit to the WYSO studios, Sohio has been busy writing and recording. The band made a return visit to the WYSO studios to perform live ahead of an appearance at Peaches Grill in Yellow Springs. The members of Sam at Eleven have been playing together for many years, originally under the name HQAX. After that band dissolved, roughly a year went by and the members decided to reunite and begin making music together again. Reece Lincoln is a young performer who's made a big impression in the local blues community. After releasing their album, Soul of a Man, the Reece Lincoln Band visited the WYSO studio for a live performance.
