Ohio Gas Prices Up To Start Week

Gas prices are up slightly in Ohio as the new work week begins.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio was about $3.73 in Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. That's about 3 cents higher than a week ago.

The lowest price in the state is about $3.66 in the Dayton-Springfield area.

The national average is $3.75, which is a few cents lower than a week ago. But the national average is 25 cents more than at the same time last month.

Ohio Gas Prices Higher to Start Work Week

Prices at Ohio gas pumps are higher this week.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio was $3.52 in Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. That's 13 cents higher than a week ago.

The state average mirrors the national average of $3.52, which is 17 cents higher than a week ago. The price in Ohio is about 29 cents higher than the same time last month.

Experts say prices are continuing to rise because of solid economic recovery in China and the U.S. and other factors.

Ohio Gas Prices Tick Up Amid Recovery Hopes

Ohio gas prices are higher to start the new work week.

The average price for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio was $3.24 in Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express. That's 5 cents higher than a week ago.

Ohio's prices are still below the national average of $3.30, which is about the same as last week.

The lowest average price in Ohio Monday was $3.16 in the Toledo area.

AAA: Ohio Gas Edges Up 2 Cents to Average $3.60

Gasoline costs slightly more this week at Ohio gas pumps, though it's still much cheaper than the highs seen during the spring.

A survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express shows Ohio's average price for regular-grade gasoline is $3.60 a gallon, up 2 cents from last Monday's $3.58.

Ohio prices soared to a record $4.16 for regular on May 4 following a spike in oil prices as an anti-government uprising in
Libya caused shortages of crude from that country.
