The 4th Annual FilmDayton Festival is upon us. Check out all the nationally acclaimed films and filmmakers coming to Dayton this weekend. There's so much happening - don't miss out on that amazing film, fun, workshop, or special events everyone will be talking about.
The August 2012 installment of SOCHE TALKS features Megan Cooper, an alum from the University of Dayton on FilmDayton.
The SOCHE Talks are a collaboration with the Southwest Ohio Council for Higher Education. In this monthly series we’ll hear from faculty and staff from areas colleges and universities on a wide variety of subjects. It's an effort to bring Miami Valley research and thinking into the public arena – a way to enlighten the world with local knowledge.
Community Voices is all about getting local voices on the air. WYSO held it's second Community Voices training course this year - teaching 10 local people how to make radio stories by, for, and about the Miami Valley. You'll hear those stories and meet the producers at the Screenless Screening. It's August 26th at the Black Box Improv Theatre in downtown Dayton beginning at noon.
