The 13th Dayton Jewish International Film Festival is now open and many of them will screen at THE NEON. The line-up looks terrific!

First Friday in downtown Dayton is tonight. Various locations throughout downtown and the Oregon Arts District; 5-10 p.m.  First Friday is a free art hop featuring exhibit openings at the galleries, along with a variety of entertainment options, arts demonstrations, live music and more.

Two different holidays specifically celebrate women - Mother's Day and International Women's Day. Dr. Judith Ezekiel, Women's Studies professor at Wright State University, will examine the historic roots and deeper meaning of these very different holidays at a free program at the Dayton Metro Library. It has many of the greatest songs ever written for musical theatre - including I Got Rhythm, They Can't Take That Away From Me, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Embraceable You, and many others. This is now a fresh new show that is fast paced, genuinely funny and full of show-stopping production numbers.
