Dayton-area horror host Baron Von Porkchop returns to the WYSO studios for his Halloween visit to Kaleidsocope.  The Baron talks about the Halloween season so far and his upcoming Terrifying Tales of the Macabre Halloween Special.

Baron Von Porkchop's 5th Annual Halloween Special will air on DATV and MVCC at midnight on October 30th. The Baron will make an appearance at GameSwap Kettering on October 31st at 7pm.

After missing out on the 2013 Kaleidoscope Halloween Special, local horror host Baron Von Porkchop returns to the WYSO studios along with his writer, producer and director Matt Brassfield.  The duo chats with Kaleidsocope host Juliet Fromholt about upcoming episodes of Terrifying Tales of the Macabre and a special 13 hour horror host marathon on DATV on Black Friday.

DATV's Black Friday Horror Host Marathon begins at 6pm on November 29 and features new episodes from Baron Von Porkchop and A. Ghastlee Ghoul plus the TV premiere of The Great Huzzah.

DATV went on the air on March 1, 1978 under the leadership of Dayton resident Roxie Cole.  35 years later the station is still going strong, providing a voice for community members and teaching media skills to local residents.  WYSO's Juliet Fromholt sat down with DATV's Dan Suffoletto and Melissa Constantine to talk about the history of the station and how they're celebrating their 35th anniversary.
