Comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer will headline the Antioch School's upcoming comedy gala.  She chatted with WYSO's Niki Dakota on her way to Yellow Springs about her career in comedy, living in the midwest and more.

Suzanne Westenhoefer will perform as part of the Antioch School's comedy gala on March 5th at Antioch College's Foundry Theater.

Kevin Barber aka Squishy Man is a former psychotherapist who now uses comedy to talk about mental health issues.  He’ll perform at the Little Art Theatre on May 14th. May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and the event is sponsored by NAMI Yellow Springs – the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

In a conversation with Squishy Man earlier this week we find out what his name means; he says, “I’m not fat, I’m Squishy,” and how he got it.

Stewart Huff savors his life on the road as a working comedian.  He visited the WYSO studios ahead of a 4 day stint at Wiley's Comedy Club in Dayton to talk about his love of travel, storytelling and finding artistic expression in comedy.

Stewart Huff will perform at Wiley's in downtown Dayton August 28-31st including a performance at the 14th Annual Blues and Comedy Party.

Heywood Banks Bring Humor To The WYSO Studios

Comedian and songwriter Heywood Banks made a stop in Yellow Springs on his way to a two day engagement at Wiley's Comedy Club in downtown Dayton.  Banks joined Norm Whitman and Cindy Funk in the WYSO studios during Detours for an afternoon of songs, stories and lots of laughs.
