Local musician, producer, and composer Robert Sanae came by the WYSO studios last week to play three songs off of his new album Indigo Blue. During his time in the studioRobert also talks about the logistics of playing shows, his family’s affiliation with music, composing, and his musical background.
Local music pioneer Don Thrasher came by the WYSO studios to talk to Niki Dakota on Excursions. Don talks about the Dayton Music Fest as well as his label Gas Daddy Go, and is about to release the debut album for the band Me Time. Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and teacher Cosy Sheridan called into the WYSO studios to chat with Niki Dakota. Tune in as Cosy talks about her newest album, her move to the northeast, as well as some recent hard times that she has been going through. You’ll also get to hear three songs off of her newest album Pretty Bird.

Performing as a solo artist as well as with her band, Sassy Molasses, Moriah Haven Lawson finds inspiration in everything from the bluegrass she was raised with to Tori Amos. She visited the WYSO studios for a live set on Kaleidoscope, performing songs from the forthcoming Five Stages project.
