Officials say a group of airmen in southwest Ohio who dropped supplies in West Africa to help with the Ebola outbreak no longer have to report their medical condition with authorities.
The Dayton Daily News reports the six reservists at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton had to check their temperatures twice a day and report their health conditions to medical authorities twice a week for 21 days after returning from West Africa. A base spokeswoman says none of the reservists showed any symptoms of the virus.
The members of the 445th Airlift Wing had dropped a four-wheeled crane in Monrovia, Liberia on Oct. 19 and were on the ground there for about three hours. They returned Oct. 26 after bringing cargo back from Afghanistan.
