What's Great in Dayton: September 4 - 10, 2015

The forests are not always what they seem in Stephen Sondheim's spellbinding, romantic, and brilliant play.

Weaving everyone's favorite fairy tales together, this delightful, dark, and witty musical asks: What happens AFTER happily ever after? Into The Woods is this play and it is at the Victoria Theatre this weekend.

A Giant Scale Radio Controlled Model Aircraft Show is this weekend. You will see scale versions of all kind of military aircraft with daring aerobatics. It's at the Air Force Museum.

The Eatonic Labor Day Weekend Music Festival is in Eaton at the Preble County Fairgrounds, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. 35 incredible bands and artists of different genres from all over the United States will be performing on two stages over three days, with a nationally-known headliner each day!

Liven up your garden with a few new unusual plants, conifers and unique garden art. There are many returning vendors and a couple of new ones who offer merchandise you can't find everywhere. This is in Englewood at 22 Wenger Road and is Saturday 10:00am - 5:00pm. It’s called Bob's Garden Fair.

The Woodland Arboretum is having its 24th Annual Photo Contest. You should visit and photograph the historic cemetery. Rules, regulations and registration forms are located on their website or in their administration office on site. Deadline to submit your photos is 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12.

And finally, right now is the Montgomery County Fair. It is all weekend plus Monday on Labor Day.
