What's Great in Dayton: June 1 - 7, 2012

Downtown Dayton Partnership’s Annual Meeting and Greater Downtown Dayton Plan is today, 3:30-5:00pm, Engineers Club. Come see what's happening in downtown Dayton. Downtown enthusiasts and Plan supporters will deliver rapid visual presentations showcasing all the positive news and momentum in our center city.

And then from 5-10pm is downtown Dayton’s First Friday.

Culp's Café will be serving breakfast on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays starting tomorrow…Saturday….from 7:30am to 3:00pm. This is at the Carillon Historical Park.

Paper Treasures Workshop is Saturday, from 1 – 3:00 at the Aullwood Education Center. If you are looking for an activity to enjoy with your kids, grandkids, family members or friends then this fast, fun, and truly rewarding art of papermaking will be a blast.

Release your inner Dancing Queen at this summer’s presentation of the DAYTON GAY MEN’S CHORUS whose high-energy, fast-paced ExtrABBAganza concert hits the historic Victoria Theatre stage on June 2nd at 8pm. Featuring live music inspired by the iconic Swedish band, ABBA, this is a one-of-a-kind treat that is sure to inspire and excite people of all ages.

Occupy Dayton Hosts an Area Premiere Theater titled ‘For Profit’  The provocative new solo-play will be presented June 1, 2, and 3 at the Occupy Dayton Community Space.
