What's Great in Dayton: July 11 - 17, 2014

The 40th Annual Ohio Mini-CANvention is a huge breweriana show for selling, buying or trading beer related items. It includes ANYTHING such as cans, signs, coasters, bottle caps, clothing, server aprons, kegs, tap knobs, bottles, labels, ...you name it! The show is Friday and Saturday at the Eintracht Singing Society.

Meet some of Dayton's most interesting and exciting women, from homemaker to politician to famous author.  This is a tour of Famous Women of Woodland Cemetery. Reservations Required. Saturday, 10:00AM

A professor will discuss the use of the Golden Rule in World Religions at the Dayton International Peace Museum on Sunday at 2:00 PM. This program is free and open to the public and is the second in a series of ongoing discussions in conjunction with the Peace Museum's current exhibit, "Peace Labyrinth: Quilting the Golden Rule," a collection of 17 quilts.

Dayton Celebrates Glass showcases our region's love of studio glass, ranging from the early pioneers of the studio movement through today's artistic innovators. This is at the Dayton Art Institute.
