Patterson Homestead will host a Victorian Afternoon Tea on Sunday

Tomorrow, on Saturday, at 9:00am there is a slow-paced walk through the Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum. This is home to many diverse species of birds and the bare trees make it easy for viewing. Don't forget your camera and binoculars!

The Junior Leaguers Club of Dayton is sponsoring a special screening of DEAR WHITE PEOPLE on Saturday at noon at The Neon. This is a 2014 American satirical film that focuses on African American students who attend a predominately white university.

Have you ever considered joining the Peace Corps? Would you like to learn more about it? Plan to attend the Recruitment and Information Event, 10 AM to 4 PM, on Saturday at the Dayton International Peace Museum. Talk with recruiters and returned Peace Corps volunteers. The Peace Corps: It's the toughest job you'll ever love.

Take a tour of Cedar Bog Saturday, 1:00pm-3:00pm. and you will see skunk cabbage. This is a plant that melts the snow around it in order to bloom.

The Gem City Ballet and the Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra join forces for The Sleeping Beauty. Tchaikovsky's magnificent score, enchanting choreography and costumes, and a cast of fanciful characters all set the stage for a performance the entire family can enjoy together. Saturday, at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm. at the Dayton Masonic Center.

A Victorian Afternoon Tea is Sunday, 2 - 4pm at Patterson Homestead. Join for an authentic three course tea service by costumed interpreters and learn about the Patterson family.
