What's Great in Dayton: February 14 - 20, 2014

Diversity in Dance: where romance transforms into tragedy in Butterfly Suite and Reflections is a neoclassical, pure dance ballet with Tchaikovsky. Neal Gittleman conducts the Dayton Philharmonic during this ballet. Now - Sunday.

SONGS OF REVOLUTION, REMEMBRANCES AND RENEWAL is Saturday, February 15, 4:00 - 5:30 pm, at the Sears Recital Hall, located on the first floor of the University of Dayton's Jesse Philips Humanities Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Come in out of the cold and view hundreds of orchids in bloom. View many artful displays full of blooming tropical orchids that will surely lift anyone’s spirits. Vendors from 4 states will have orchids and other items available for purchase. Sat and Sun, 10:00am - 4:00pm at Cox Arboretum.

Sugarbush Walks on Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 2:30 p.m. at the Aullwood Farm Discovery Center. A broken maple twig will "bleed" sweet sap or a hole drilled in the trunk will quickly produce a bucket full of this "essence of the spring season."
