It's time for the Great Backyard Bird Count

The Great Backyard Bird Countis this weekend. Bird watchers of all ages count birds to create a real-time snapshot of bird populations. You'll be asked to count birds for as little as 15 minutes on one or more days and report your sightings online. Anyone can take part, from beginning bird watchers to experts!

Parlez-vous français? Tomorrow, Saturday, 10:00am, tour the Glen in French! Learn French terminology for your favorite sights and sounds of the Glen Helen. Speak the language of love in a beautiful, scenic atmosphere, and embrace the ambiance the Glen has to offer.

Dayton's Own Twisted Cabaret Presents: The Corrupted Heart. This takes place Saturday at 8:30pm in the C.I. Beaver Hall, in Beavercreek. It is a one night event, hosted by the one and only, Mahoganay Halsten Soule, who will transport you back to the cabaret shows of 1920s, '30s and '40s with a mischievous, twist!

Works on Paper is a juried exhibition for artists living within a 40-mile radius of Dayton. You can see this at The Rosewood Gallery in Kettering.

Registration for three summer aerospace camps is now open at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. Campers who have completed grades 4 through 8 will be able to learn about a variety of topics through hands-on activities that incorporate history, science and math concepts, as well as team-building skills.

The Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MVRPC) is having a series of workshops regarding the update of the Comprehensive Local-Regional Bikeways Plan for the Miami Valley. Workshops will be interactive with the opportunity for citizens to share their thoughts.

Charlie, It’s Great In Dayton, Campbell

Charlie Campbell wants to spread the news of so many wonderful aspects in the greater Dayton area. He is a cheerleader and a real believer that our area is the place to be. He has been active in this area for almost 40 years and you can hear him weekly at WYSO.
