What's Great in Dayton: December 6 - 12, 2013

Dayton Gay Men's Chorus

Tonight in downtown Dayton it’s First Friday from 5 to 10 p.m. You can shop for unique and one-of-kind items, view festive window displays, enjoy live entertainment and take advantage of discounts and special deals.

The Signature: A Poetic Medley Show is Friday and Saturday night in the Human Race Theater. This is a live production that has earned a reputation across the Midwest for being edgy, thought provoking, funny, engaging, and very spontaneous.

On Saturday, The Dayton Gay Men's Chorus will be performing their annual Holiday Concert and it will be at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 6:00pm. This year's concert will feature the utmost in variety, along with some originals.

And also on Saturday in Greenville the The Riders In The Sky are saddled up and fixin’ to pay a visit to St. Clair Memorial Hall, at 8:00pm. And you can bet your favorite pair of boots the Riders will crack a few jokes along the way.

On Sunday at 3:00 p.m. the Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra will present its Winter Concert at the Schuster Center.

And since you are a radio fan then a great show is at the Victoria and it is called It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. It is the holiday classic performed as a live 1940s radio broadcast – complete with jazzy radio jingles, hilarious commercials, and a glamorous cast.

Gotta Go….
