Gilly’s Jazz in Dayton is having a halloween themed music extravaganza presented by Louis Wood Jr, also known as DJ MisterKid, who is joined us in the WYSO studios to talk about the event. We were also joined by Musician Alex Dahle, who is on the lineup for the Halloween show at Gilly’s. Tune in to hear Alex play a couple of songs for us and for him to talk about his previous band, Freefall Theory, and the music scene in Tipp City.
Also in studios were Daniel Wilcher, Kyle Cloud, and Bryant Crouch of The States from Tipp City. The States played three fantastic songs for us and discussed their plans to begin recording their first EP this winter. The States will also be joining Alex Dahle and DJ MisterKid at Gilly’s for their Halloween themed show on October 24th.
