Rabbit Hash String Band Live on Excursions
Named for Rabbit Hash, Kentucky, the hometown of their founder, the Rabbit Hash String Band is a four-piece string and vocal band. They visited the WYSO studios for a live performance and to chat with Niki Dakota about their music and their namesake community.
Rabbit Hash String Band will perform at a barn dance on September 8th at Country Pines Tree Farm to benefit Ohio Citizen Action, the state's largest environmental organization. Melissa English from Ohio Citizen Action also joins Niki Dakota in the studio to talk about the group's mission and the origins of the event which will include live music, square dancing, and a hollering contest.
