Ohio Lawmakers React to Obama Along Party Lines

Ohio Republicans are dismissing President Barack Obama's third State of the Union address as more of the same, while Democrats liked what he had to say about manufacturing.

U.S. House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio says he heard little in the way of new ideas to help create jobs. U.S. Sen. Rob Portman says the president stuck with what the Republican described as the same failed policies of expanded government and more spending.

Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown says Obama's speech gave manufacturing the attention it deserves. The president said he wants tax cuts and tax breaks to boost manufacturing jobs.

Democratic Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur from northwest Ohio says she saw the faces of Ohio steel workers, autoworkers and solar factory employees.
