New Rules Limit Occupy Group in Ohio

Occupy protesters will no longer be allowed to camp on Courthouse Square in Dayton under rules approved by Montgomery County commissioners.

They approved the rule changes Tuesday that prohibit sleeping, camping and lodging.

The Occupy Dayton members camped on the square for weeks but recently moved to nearby Dave Hall Plaza. The city says they will not be allowed to continue camping in that park.

Meanwhile, a court hearing will continue Wednesday in Cincinnati on criminal misdemeanor charges against Occupy Cincinnati members accused of staying in a downtown park past closing time.

The protesters are asking the judge to dismiss the charges, saying the charges violate their free speech rights.
