All with long histories in the Dayton music scene, Jason Himes, Eric Purtle and Tim Krug were performing together as part of the reformed Dementia Precox and decided to begin working on a new project that soon became Hexadiode.  The band visited the WYSO studios for a live set on Kaleidoscope and talked about finding and developing their sound and preparing to bring it to the stage.
