Governor to Tout Business Expansions in SW Ohio

Ohio's governor plans to join in announcements of the expansions of two businesses based in the Cincinnati area.

Gov. John Kasich has stops Tuesday in suburban Loveland and in downtown Cincinnati.

In the first, he'll be at Bioformix, a company that makes and distributes environmentally sensitive adhesives, coatings, sealants and ink.

Later, Kasich will be with Kao (kow) USA and Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber officials to discuss expansion of the beauty products maker's Cincinnati base. Kao USA is a unit of Tokyo-based Kao Corp., making such brands as Jergens and Curel lotions and Ban deodorants.

Kasich says Ohio has become one of the nation's leading job creators, and he is promoting aggressive efforts to lure new businesses and keep existing ones in the state.
