Elia Goat and the Natural Horns Live on Kaleidoscope

When Elia Goat began arranging material for a solo album, he decided to take a different approach to instrumentation.  Instead of stringed instruments traditionally used in folk and country, Goat wrote horn parts for his songs and began gathering players.  The result is Elia Goat and the Natural Horns and their album, Acorns.  The band visited the WYSO studios for a live set on Kaleidoscope and talked to host Juliet Fromholt about writing, recording and finding a sound all their own.
