Crazy Joe (a college professor) and Richard Stockton (works with Yellow Springs water) visited the WYSO studios to talk about their band, The Professors which formed ten years ago. They are currently working on a new album. They perform on Saturday, December 15th at Canal Street Tavern in Dayton with Tyrd Fyrgysyn and the Masterxploders.

Dan Raridan Live on Excursions 12/10/2012

Dan Raridan stopped by Excursions to talk about his new album, Give It Up. The release of the new album with be at South Park Tavern on Saturday, December 15th. Dan Raridan will be joined live by the Calientes with special guests Josh Eagle and the Harvast City and Jane Sachs.

Dan performed three songs on the new album while in the WYSO studios including: "Dream With Me," "Sunshine in the Rain Be My Love," and "Hold You Tight." Dan played every single instrument on the new album.

The New Old-Fashioned Live on Excursions 12-06-2012

WYSO gladly welcomed into the studio Tom Blackburn, Jon Chasteen, Kent Montgomery, and David Payne who are The New Old-Fashioned. Their self-titled debut album will be released during their CD release party at Canal Street Tavern on December 7th, 2012. Special guests are Tim Pritchard and the Boxcar Suite and Absinthe Junk from Nashville, TN.

The Human Race Theatre Presents Oliver!

The Human Race Theatre is proud to present the reductionist version of Oliver! directed by Alan Souza. The show runs from November 29th - December 22nd at The Loft Theatre in Dayton.   The musical is based off of Charles Dicken's famous novel Oliver Twist which became a literary phenomenon in England around the 1830's. Many years later the book became a musical and a movie. The music of Oliver! was performed by many famous divas including Judy Garland and Shirley Bassey.
