Charlie Campbell wants to spread the news of so many wonderful aspects in the greater Dayton area. He is a cheerleader and a real believer that our area is the place to be. He has been active in this area for almost 40 years and you can hear him weekly at WYSO.

If you like old time Rock & Roll dancing, then Friday evening, Corky’s Band is playing your favorite 50’s, 60’s & 70’s tunes. It’s at the American Czechoslovakian Club, on Valley St.

You can interact with the Wright brothers or Paul Laurence Dunbar on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 . Go to the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center It’s at the corner of Williams and Third in Dayton.

Gearfest is the Midwest Outdoor Experience. All kind of things including camping, competitions, regional music acts, exciting demos, and Friday and Saturday, a night beer garden. It’s at the Eastwood Metro Park.

A new, interactive exhibit is at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery and it is all about the Miami Valley’s extraordinary water resources. It’s called "SPLASH."

Oktoberfest is this weekend at The Dayton Art Institute.…lots of artisans, unique foods, ample beers, live music on two stages.
