Julie Klam felt lost. She wasn't living the life that she wanted to live. Her job wasn't very exciting. The men she was dating were not that interesting. She felt at loose ends. Then one night she had the dream. It was a dream about Otto, a Boston terrier.
Klam's dream was the impetus for a search that led Klam to her dreamed of dog. They found one another. Klam's connection with Otto opened her heart to the potential of a happier existence.

Fifteen years ago this month, the Dayton Peace Accords ended the war in Bosnia. Tonight the city is commemorating the occasion with a dinner at the Hope Hotel at Wright Patterson Air Force base, where the accords were signed. The organizer of the event, city commissioner Matt Joseph says Bosnians today appreciate what happened in Dayton, even though the country still faces problems.
Tim Kao began writing the songs that would become Old Music for Young Hearts while living in Shanghai, China. When he returned to the U.S., he met up with several established local musicians with whom he finished the album. T.Kao visited the WYSO studios to perform live versions of songs from Old Music for Young Hearts and to talk about the collaborative recording process for the album.
