Conrad's Corner: An Interview With Maxine Skuba

Maxine Skuba is a professional counselor and teaches Life/Work Planning classes at Wright State University, Clark State Community College and Antioch University Midwest.  Over the last 16 years she has subdued her inner critic and is now comfortable with also being called a poet.

Here Skuba speaks with Conrad Balliet about writing as threapy, travel and inspiration.

PoliticsOhio: Progressive Group Concerned Over Public Money Combatting Senate Bill 5 Ballot Issue

 In the week’s edition of PoliticsOhio, Emily McCord speaks to Ohio Public Radio’s Karen Kasler. A progressive think tank alleges that public money is being used to fund a campaign to support Senate Bill 5. Kasler reports on how they have connected the dots and on whether or not the assertion has legs. House Speaker to discuss jobs in Ohio appearance

WEST CHESTER, Ohio (AP) - House Speaker John Boehner will talk in his home state of Ohio about the House Republican approach to job creation and getting the economy moving, following the release of a weak U.S. employment report.

Boehner plans to discuss jobs Friday afternoon while at the grand opening of offices for a small company that provides payroll and other administrative services for businesses in his home area near Cincinnati.

The Republican plan on jobs and the economy focuses on reducing government spending and regulations and lowering tax rates.
