Book Nook: Spycatcher by Matthew Dunn

Matthew Dunn knows quite a lot about the spy business. Dunn experienced the world of espionage first hand as an agent for MI6, Great Britain's top secret intelligence agency.

Dunn retired a decade ago to start a family. He has just published his first spy novel in a forthcoming series featuring the MI6 super spy Will Cochrane.

In this interview Dunn discusses his espionage background  and how he conceived of this series and his lethal protagonist.

Maxine Skuba is a professional counselor and teaches Life/Work Planning classes at Wright State University, Clark State Community College and Antioch University Midwest.  Over the last 16 years she has subdued her inner critic and is now comfortable with also being called a poet.

Here Skuba speaks with Conrad Balliet about writing as threapy, travel and inspiration.

PoliticsOhio: Progressive Group Concerned Over Public Money Combatting Senate Bill 5 Ballot Issue

 In the week’s edition of PoliticsOhio, Emily McCord speaks to Ohio Public Radio’s Karen Kasler. A progressive think tank alleges that public money is being used to fund a campaign to support Senate Bill 5. Kasler reports on how they have connected the dots and on whether or not the assertion has legs.
