The New Old-Fashioned blend Alt-rock, Americana and folk sensibilities into their sound as they prepare to play their debut show this Saturday night, December 3rd, at the XACT/KHN Theater in their hometown of Xenia.  Here two members of the four piece band, David Payne and Kent Montgomery perform an acoustic set on Kaleidoscope and chat with host Juliet Fromholt about the development of the band and their plans for 2012.

Report Finds Misconduct In Ohio Development Department

Ohio's government watchdog has found wrongdoing in the way the development department handled federal grant money meant to help low-income people weatherize their homes.

The report from the office of the inspector general says state Department of Development was given $266 million as part of the federal stimulus to help poor Ohioans weather-proof their homes.

The report finds that the department didn't do enough inspections to make sure that groups weatherizing homes actually did the work they were paid for.
